Went past there yesterday but nothing to report......  My Father is doing some construction work at a hospital in the Barry area & when I mentioned about them filming at the cafe he told me he had a call yesterday asking if a few days filming next week would interfere with the building work. My dad , being a berk didnt ask WHAT they were filming but It could well be Being Human & he's going to find out today. If you catch a mustachioed welshman wearing a hardhat & looking slightly bemused lurking in any backgound scenes at the hospital thats my DAD...!!!!!!! |

So now you know the days, you could just accidentally wander over there with a werewolf.com sign and stand outside the cafe window all innocently.
Being serious, for a moment, you should see if you can get a part as an extra on the series in one of the cafe scenes.

Found out last night that they have started filming. I am off down there tonight after work & am going to try my best to get some pictures...........Keep you updated.

WhooooooooooHoooooooooo.............SUCCESS !!!!! popped down to pillwenly last night & sure enough they were filming a scene. It looks like Toms back so we will get our werewolf fix & to me it looked like he was doing a George & had a job in a cafe......Im sure I saw him & another fella rehearsing some kind of fight sequence but Im not 100% Anyway he had a red/white strip apron on so Im sure he's got a job in the cafe in one shape or another. He must have popped out for a cig & after asking security he was more than happy to pop over for a pic with my little boy who I had already briefed..LOL My boys first question to him was "are you a werewolf...??" Class !!!! Mr Socha was so down to earth & a really nice fella but due to timing I didnt get to ask him any inside info... They are taking filming down to Newport Dock now & as I used to work down there Im pretty sure I get on site..!!! He's the pic & I will keep you updated. Congrats on your success! Your kid looks very happy to be next to a werewolf, so your training him well  I'm guessing in the next season, the three werewolves will be living together, and Mitchell won't be, at least for the first part of the series. |

Between season 4 of the original version and season 2 of the american version it seems that there are at least a few hold outs for classic werewolves in a sea of wolfaboo madness and Team Jacob Fans.
Though the only way I can get through the werewolf scenes of the Syfy version is by closing my eyes and pretending they're using Underworld Lycans. It's seriously bolstered my enjoyment of the American version 200% percent.

Well, Yesterday's episode was interesting.
Need to be careful what I say, as there were some pretty big spoilers in that episode.
One thing I will say, is even though the episode was great, I am a little concerned in the path it's taking as it's moving further from the original feel of Being Human to something more main stream in style and look.
I'm also still irritated that they've yet to release the pilot episode to buy. I really don't understand why they never included it on the season 1 disks.

Hmmm i assumed they had included the pilot on the dvd releases already. I guess they're waiting for a really weak season and will use that to encourage people to buy? Now i'm really behind with this series but i do know what happened in the first episode and i have to agree with Marcus, not really sure where the series will go from here. But doesn't seem like that long since we were all emailing in to complain that this wasn't the pilot they had decided to roll with! Look how far they've come....

I've only been keeping up with the US version due to availability, but I love the show so far through its second season. Can't wait until it starts up again, and I'm hoping to get a chance to give the original series a try.
