It's the end of the decade! That can only mean that it's time for me to indulge my obsessive list-making habit.
Here's my top 20 horror movies of the last 10 years for your perusal/dismissal:

Yes, I know I put Freddy vs Jason in there. No, it's not a mistake. If I just had one more space I could put Cold Prey in there... oh well. Any thoughts? Anyone else want a go?

If you really want another space, who says you cannot have your top 21 or 22. Why must it be the top 20? Don't be a sheep, be a Wolf and do the list to the number you want!!

Not sure if I can remember 20 films over last 10 years but the ones that stand out for me:

The Mist
The hills have eyes
Splinter
Dog Soldiers
Descent
Battle Royal (that was in the last 10 years wasn't it?)
Ginger Snaps
Shaun of the Dead (alright it's more a comedy than horror)
Zombieland - though I've not seen it yet *blink blink*
28 Days Later

I'll have to check my collection at home for others. My memory is so poor.

There are a couple on Keywolf's list that i haven't seen yet. Most notably "Let the right one in" which i keep meaning to watch. It's a hard list to make but Dog Soldier's come top of the list and the Descent comes pretty high too. Shaun of the Dead is in there as is Ginger Snaps and Ginger Snaps: The beginning.... Can't think of any others that have really blown me away. I'll take a sneek look at other people's lists and see if anything else catches my eye!
