FANTASTIC. For the longest time I thought I had this movie, but I just got it and I cant get over how good it is. This movie shot up to one of my favorite films in my collection. The acting was great, the photography was amazing, and the special effects were awesome. A perfect trilogy!

I've prefer the 1st and the 3rd film of the trilogy. Though I like them all.
Especially like how they took a scene from the comic in the 2nd one, and recretated it in the 3rd film, where she's walking through the gates near the end of the film.

I don't remember the comic in the 2nd one but then i must confess i've only seen the 2nd one once and i've no real desire to watch it again.

I like the second one though not many people do. You always see movies or shows where a character gets stuck in an asylum, but they are not crazy. Image that happening to you, but the twist is you have the power to kill everyone there. So you warn them, they dont listen (of course), and what happens? The beast is unleashed, awsome. Though she doesnt go on rampage in the asylum, which would have been great, she does prove them wrong in the end and i love underdogs.

Didn't you find the ending very depressing Moonreaper?

In a way, but at the same time I see an opening to a curious sequel.

I found the endings of the second and third ones to be depressing. Not so much the first one because the monster died. Then again, pretty much every character in every movie was a monster.

Hell yea, I like an ending that leaves some to the imagination or where evil prevails. Its different from the usual "good always wins" ending.

I like "good always wins" endings. Call me old fashioned. The problem with the Ginger Snaps movies was that I didn't like any of the characters. They were all horrible people, especially in the third one. I guess there was that Native American guy, but he didn't do much to make me care about him, either.

I prefered the ending to the 3rd film to the ending to the 2nd. However i didn't see how any of the movies could have had happy endings. I do like to see a happy ending but it's nice to have a break from the norm sometimes.

I actually preferred the ending of the second one because at least I didn't see it coming. Maybe I should have, I don't know. I all but knew that the third one would end the way it did, and not because I'd read spoilers or anything beforehand.

For me, it doesn't matter if an ending has good or evil winning, as long as the ending 'fits' with the rest of the film, making sense and feeling correct is much more important to me than if the villian or the hero wins.
I wished they'd emphasised the bond between the two girls more in the 3rd film. To me it felt like they automatically assumed you knew just how close they were to each other, based on watching, in effect the same characters, the 1st film.
