Looks very much like a re-titling of Horrors of War, which has been discussed here before somewhere.

Ah, that's why it seemed so familiar.

Just looked up Horrors of War and yes it is the same movie. Can't seem to find any reason why they changed the title. It's still registered on IMDB as Horrors of War???

Because film distributors are idiots? Zombies are popular and easily definable, so if they stick the word 'zombie' in a title they think it'll sell better. Hence why Automaton Transfusion was renamed Zombie Transfusion over here, and Mulberry Street was foolishly renamed Zombie Virus on Mulberry Street.

I thought Mulbury street was about a virus/infection turning people into ratish mutants, not zombies. Or am I thinking of the wrong film?
They could have changed the name, because of how poor it's sold, they thought they'd fool people into thinking it's a diferent film so they'll buy it again!

Well it's not worth buying.... The movie is terrible and the werewolf doesn't get enough screen time to make it worthwhile.

It's not that great of a film, but I did think that the one chubby soldier -- one of the commanding officers; he did the "pull my finger" joke at the beginning to get the one soldier to smile -- was a good actor in his role.

That bit did make me laugh. Also liked the bit where the guy reappeared naked and covered in mud!

Strange, as there's only 7 Howling movies, no Howling 8 yet unless you count the upcoming remake. Most people know it as 'Howling 7: New Moon Rising' but 'Howling 7: Mystery Woman' is one of it's alternate titles. It's also often regarded as one of the worst werewolf movies of all time! Here it is: www.imdb.com/title/tt0113349/
