I like the 1st poster - seems to be the werewolf is saying "oh look, someone wants to play red riding hood game".

I love all these posters but the third one is the best. What a wicked image. I could happily have that framed and on my wall. I just hope the movie lives up to it.

Nice to know they've not tried to do a tame version for a lower certificate rating.
I'm hoping for a creeping suspenseful storyline rather than one full of sudden shocks and extreme action.

I'm hoping for moody, atmospheric, gothic horror with plenty of blood, gore and well crafted carnage. Apparently in the original script there was a montage sequence of Talbot's first full moon rampage that played out very similarly to An American Werewolf in London's first night fun. Tense stalkings and bloody murder. Hopefully Joe Johnston can pull off something similar.

Just a note, the official release date is now Feb 12th. The official entry here still says the 2nd.

February 12, 2010 (2010-02-12) (United States) October 2, 2010 (2010-10-02) (France) December 2, 2010 (2010-12-02) (International)
Holy crap, that's a big time delay. It takes less time than that to get a Japanese DvD into the US market.

As far as I know it's still on track to be released in February in the UK too.

Thank god for that. Why should people have to wait so long?

Thank god for that. Why should people have to wait so long? I guess there aren't many voiceactors willing to make the translations, or they're just understaffed.

Just picked up the novelization by Jonathan Maberry. With luck I won't read it this weekend.
