Here's something a little unusual that might appeal to anyone out there who is a fan of Tim Burton Style Stop Motion features, this movie is one that influenced him.

Mad Monster Party was made in the 1960s and is about Dr Baron Von Frankenstein (voiced by the late Boris Karloff) who has finally created a weapon that willl wipe out mankind and decides to celebrate by throwing a Monster Bash. Invitees include Dracula, The Mummy, a Werewolf, etc The set designs are said to have directly influenced those featured in The Nightmare Before Christmas. I'm definately gonna order a copy of this when it goes down slightly in price. It seems to be very much my type of thing.

Haha, yeah I quite enjoyed this one! It was good fun. The werewolf character is quite minor and not nearly as cool in design as the "Nightmare Before Christmas" one, but the movie overall has an entertaining and amusing story.

I've yet to see this but have added it to my wish list for future disposible cash. Another stop motion movie i picked up recently was Spooky Bats and Scaredy Cats which was made it 2007. Still no where near as good as the Nightmare Before Christmas i got this for £3 in the samhain sale at my local tesco. It does feature a werewolf which looks more like the cowerdly lion for the Wizard of Oz and isn't in it for very long but it wasn't bad at all for 3 quid! Here's a link to it on amazon:
