This spring my band is planning on making a video for our song - "Feral and Unbound". Yes it is a song of total lycanthropy.
We have a friend who is really talented at filming, directing, and editing.
The video will feature the band playing in the woods and the story of the werewolf chasing down his prey.
We are going for a total "B" horror flick feel to the video and I am writing the script now.
I have the costume picked out which looks bad ass, the characters besides the band casted, and have described my vision to the director.
If any of you have any input or ideas, I'll gladly take them and give you credit if they are used.

Hmmmm, well you might get some artillery fire from the feminists  I aint much good at scansion. Let alone determining how this would sound in a song with rhyme and what-not. If you ever feel up to it, you could send us a stream of the song (because I don't do downloads). |

Sorry, never produced a video before. I would avoid doing the 'photo negative' look when viewing the monster or seeing throug its eyes, but other than that I wouldn't even know what to suggest.
Good luck with it; we're all waiting for progress reports.

I know, I know. That was the first thing I explained to our film guy. No red screen, no negative, no black and white, and no cgi.
When we do the wolf's point of view it will be fimed differently than the rest of the footage but not anything too drastic.
Maybe speed up a bit or real shaky.

Progess report:
The scripting is just about done.
The scenery has been picked out.
The people are cast.
Just have to get the costume and start filming.
That will begin in a few weeks.

ALL the band footage has been shot and all the parts of the takes have been chosen to be in the video.
Next comes the scenes of the werewolf!

Will you post any pics of the video shoot and will there be a transformation scene in the video or will we just see the werewolf in action?

Sounds like fun. Me and a group of friends are trying to get a hold of an old ducumentary camera like they used to film the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre so we can try making a few movies. We have some really cool ideas, I started writing a werewolf story and a friend of mine has some ideas for a few slasher flicks. My cousin does special effects for movies, Im the appointed music director/artist, and a friend of mine wants to direct so we have a few angles covered. Cant wait to get the ball rolling!

Unfortunately there will probably not be a transformation scene. I am trying for one but time lengths, budget, and all types of things are pointing towards "no". I wish.
Yes we will post some pictures as soon as the wolf parts are shot.
We appreciate your positive feedback on this. The band footage is really good so far and Eric (The producer/Director) and I are editing some of it this weekend and we will post some shots of that as well.
