I know technically True Blood is a vampire series, but in season 3 they are introducing werewolves.
From the bits and pieces I've read so far it looks like:
1/ Like the vampires, the werewolves have a bar where they hang out.
2/ Their will be transformation scenes, but don't know what style.
3/ The werewolves change into full wolves (looks like they're using real wolves for this).
4/ The werewolves are supposed to be very strong.
5/ One of the werewolves looks like will be a main character and befriends/protects (not sure which) Sookie.
