I remember staying up late by myself watching the original "The Haunting" on TV and thinking I really should've just gone to bed...

I remember being upset by some tv announcment about a vampire film that was going to be on that night. There was a shot of a man being choked to death and blood was pouring from his mouth. I'd love to see this film today! I'm pretty sure it's a British flick and for years I thought it was one of the Hammer Dracula's, but it isn't. Any ideas? It was a loooong time ago (I was 3/4 years old) so my memory mind be cheating me. Nothing springs to mind. Speaking of vampires, I am about to watch "Zoltan, Hound Of Dracula" which I have not seen. One cool way of watching a horror film, is outside at night, on a projected screen. A friend I used to know long ago did one with a small group of us in his back garden. Definately made the film more spooky. Though I cannot remember which film it was now - apart it was one of the slasher ones, where most of the action happened outside. That is a good idea. Throw in a late night barbeque... ;D We used to have a projector in our old house. As you say watching on a big screen in the dark makes a big difference.

The scene in Silver Bullet were the priest is dreaming and all his congregation start to turn into werewolves. Scared the hell out of me as a kid, as did the transformation scene in AAWIL. But now they don't scare me at all.
