How about the scene in The Thing when the dog starts mutating in the dog kennel and eating and spraying the other dogs. Then MacCready torches the body but another part of the beast escapes through the ceiling.

In poltergeist, i love the creepy skeleton monster that growls at diane as she rushes to the children's room. Freaks the crap out of me.
I think if i seen that in real life i would have to put down more newspaper, lol.

The operating scene in 'The Thing' is super sweet You mean the one where the stomach opens and it's got teeth and bites the mans hand off? Brilliant scene. Another good one is where he has them tied up and he'd down to just a couple of them when that guy on the end starts to go nuts and change. I love the Thing, hope the prequel doesn't ruin it. |

the scene in Arachnid where what are basically giant chiggers burst out on the guy that gets infected with them, a dude takes pity on the poor man and lodges a bullet into his brain.

In the movie Solstice, when that one guy is running through the old ruins in the woods and comes face to face with the little girl's ghost and it screams at him in the freakiest possible way.

I don't think i've seen the film Solstice, but that scene does sound freaky so i might have to look out for that one.
