Help with this movie. A young boy is supposedly a werewolf, one scene shows him in bed with the back of his hands covered in hair. Evenyually he grows up and in the end his father kills him with a silver bullet by shooting him with a rifle. I left alot out but this is all I can remember. I would like a title and some more of the plot.

Tales from the Darkside has an episode about a kid that is a werewolf and the fearful father, not sure if it is the same as what you are asking for. Not sure of the Ep. name, but that is the name of the show, made around the time Twilight Zone started shows in color.

I'm almost certain you're talking about 'Curse of the Werewolf', starring Oliver Reed, and the only werewolf movie made by Hammer. A great film!
It's based on a book called The Werewolf of Paris (the movie moves it to Spain) by Guy Endore. In the book it's more ambiguous as to wether he is a werewolf or not.

Definately sounds like Curse of the Werewolf. One of the first werewolve movies i ever saw.

I think I have to agree with the guy who said, this is a Tales from the Dark side episode, as I just watched it the other night. The odd thing is that the film does not show how the kid got infected with the virus, but his father keeps him locked in his bedroom in some apartment chained to his bed, where he eventually has to kill him at the end with a rifle. pretty much the same premise as you described in your intro of the film your looking for.
