Got an unexpected look at the designs for the upcoming "Skinwalkers" film while browsing through a new book about Stan Winston at the local Barnes & Noble. Near as I can remember, it was called "The Stan Winston Effect". It was one of those big coffee-table books with all kinds of photos and illustrations and was found both in the "new hardcover" display in the front of the store and the film section near the back. As for the designs, I can't say they're honestly my thing, but they aren't necessarily quite as bad as I was expecting either.

Ace. I'm straight to amazon to see if i can get it Well it arrived this morning and although i'm looing forward to the film i was disapointed by the designs. I much prefer the werewolf designs in Dog Soliders. |

Well, if the story sucks, then the movie will have no redeeming quality now. But if it's good, then I'll be satisfied.
At least they put hair on their bodies and didn't morph thir faces all weird like the guy in Fright Night 2.

Why does this movie keep getting pushed back? Now I read it's not coming out till June. I'm not even anticipating it anymore, just curious why it keeps happening.

Well, it's had a lot of negative screenings so I think the studio probably doesn't really know what to do with it at this point. They just want to release it at a time when it might make them some money.

I hope it's general release. I miss a lot of films because my local cinemas don't see the appeal in showing them.
