I think the one thing that makes black and white films a little creepier looking is the quality. With the cigarette burns and the transfer quality from 35mm to VHS it gives off almost like a documentary and surreal feel for the film. I makes it feel like someone was filming a true event which I think is really spooky.

A DVD release would be nice, everyone needs to keep their eyes and ears open.

Looks fun and like it may end up being one of those "must see" films.

How the hell did I miss this thread? Ron Chaney! Awesome! This looks like my kind of film.
The guy who plays Dracula, Michael Thomas, passed away a while ago. He did some great Lugosi impressions including Ygor and Dr Vornoff from 'Bride of the Monster'.

How the hell did I miss this thread? That's what I asked myself when I finally saw this.

The makeup on all the monsters looks sweet, and the photography is deliciously expressionistic. Another one for the 'things-to-watch-before-I-die' list...

I learned of this flick just last month, and even though I'm not a big fan of those Universal monsters, except for THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON, this movie actually looks pretty damn good. Here's some pics I found, thought I'd post them. I like the Wolf Man makeup a lot.

I've only read one review and even though it was a mixed bag of one, it said the fight between the Wolf Man and Frankenstein is a standout. As it rightfully should be, I say.
