So just got back from this years Texas horror con and once again, totally sweet. Didnt get any autographs this year, though i just use autographs to get in and talk to the actors and directors, because they charged outrageous amount for them. Met a few writers and indie directors from movies such as The Darkness which is available on netflix, looks awesome (did get a free signed poster from them). Bad news this yea, heard that James Hampton (dad in teen wolf) is getting sick. He looked tired and seemed to show signs of Alzheimer's. I REALLY wanted my VHS of Humanoids from the Deep signed by Roger Corman, but once again too much haha. The best thing i bought was a weekend commission art from an artist that did my halloween/alter ego character which i will post up on here and my deviant art profile as soon as i get it scanned. The only bad parts were one: the autograph prices and two: They played nothing but asian splatter flicks all weekend, but saturday night they were supposed to screen Boggy Creek (a remake of legend of boggy creek) but the damn dvd player broke. So what did they do? Get the director and main actress to go up and describe a bad ass scene to make us feel worse. Actress gives birth to a creature in the mud in the swamp. LAIM. Cant wait for next year! Here is the link for frightmare to look at pics: www.texasfrightmareweekend.com

Personally I think it's wrong to charge for autographs. When you see those lines of people waiting for their signing, it just screams "production line" to me, rather than it being something more personal, if you know what I mean.
Glas you enjoyed the con Moonreaper.

If I met Roger Corman I think I would cry. Roger Corman is greatest thing since sliced bread.
