I know this wont be anyone elses choice but McNair in the last series of being human was brilliant in my opinion. His back story would be excellent in its own right & his grim, tough characters determined approach to what he considered his "war" on those who wronged him is played out brilliantly. His speech & mid-transformation laugh at Herrick is one of my favourite werewolf scenes & Im just gutted they chose to kill him off.........

McNair was badass, his character felt wasted when they killed him off. I think he deserved a proper throwdown with Herrick.
I also like Sir John from the Wolfman remake and the original Lawerence Talbot as played by Lon Chaney Junior.

I've not seen this but i think Robson looks like a bit like a lion there rather than a mid transformation werewolf

www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZqme8sqJFwHere is the whole scene, also the final confrontation between Herrick and McNair. McNair goes down like a bitch, though. Herrick stabs him in the heart with a butcher knife. Herrick's death is equally cheap, Mitchell essentially just stakes him in the heart right in the middle of a philosophical conversation about how it's impossible for vampires to change their natures. Had I been writing it, I would have held my load on the final Herrick/McNair confrontation until the season finale. If the two of them absolutely had to go I would have had them kill each other have a few minutes of awesome banter between the two coolest characters in the entire damn series. Given them the send off they deserved.

One of my favourite werewolf/scenes is Eddie from The Howling, when he says "I want to gve you a piece of my mind" and digs a bullet out of his own head with his fingers.

Got to agree with you there Komodo , Although I loved the final few minutes with McNair & Herrick it could have been expanded into so much more.............I'd also would have liked to have seen McNair working his way through the other vampires over the years in his journey to find Herrick , A few flashbacks showing just how all those teeth got on that necklace. Ive re-watched the whole series again & it really is excellent with some brilliantly written dialogue , Its also very very funny in parts.

Mine would have to be the opening scene in Dog Soldiers, very realistic attack scene. Creeps me out.

Another of my favourites, is in Ginger Snaps The Beginning. Where Ginger enters the fort with a pack of werewolves. Not a scary scene, but definately a cool one.

Gah, you guys keep listing so many good scenes! So, I'll have to add my third favorite, since 1 (Dog Soldiers opening) and 2 (Ginger Snaps Back fort scene) are here already: in Bad Moon, when the werewolf's arranged for the family's dog that's been antagonizing him to be taken away, as one final insult he goes to the dog's doghouse and marks it.

The sex scene/ first attack in Bad Moon, the woman being yanked out the tent and getting slashed and bitten to death, the werewolf gets it's head blow off with a shotgun.
