Let's see...
Chris Evans is a better Captain America than Ryan Reynolds is as GL. In other words, acting vs "just playing myself in every role I take."
Joe Johnston is to Captain America as Joel Schumacher is to Batman. Just to brush off those college prep analogies.
It is blasphemous to have a stage musical in the middle of any superhero movie. Not just a snippet, but the whole dang song in the middle of the dang movie! A superhero movie!!!

Have yet to see this one though im eager. I like that they kept to the military look, I dont believe that his cheesy classic look would have worked for the movie. I rather like the uniform they gave him, stems from his WWII look im guessing.

Great movie, musical number and all. The look and feel of the time period, the performances, loved it all. If there was a problem it's that I wanted to walk out and straight in to Captain America 2.

I can't say as i've been blown away by the advertising for this movie and it's not exactly made me wanna run out and see it. I also kinda thought Chris Evan was too young to be Capitan America. I always saw the Capitan as a more mature man, someone more like Nathan Fillion. But as always i'll give it a go, i might just wait till it comes out on Sky though.

Captain America isn't one of my favourite superheroes, so have not been overly excited about seeing this film. Though the look of his outfit on the posters and trailers is good.
Will wait for the DVD release.

Great movie. Hugo Weaving was great as Red Skull. Was expecting more cheesy "America, fuck yeah!" though.
Note to self: do not bitch at Red Skull when he's doing SCIENCE!, will result in disintegration .

I liked the make-up they used in the earlier captain america film for the red skull, it was such a shame that they only showed it for a few minutes at the start of that film.

I can honestly sat Captain America was never one of my favorites. I always went with Spider-Man, Morbius, Venom, and Doctor Doom.

I'm hoping the rumour that the Lizard will be in the next spiderman film is true.
I wish they'd get away from the idea, that with superhero sequals, you have to increase the number of villians. Especially when they add the iconic villians who deserve more screen time, then they get when there in a group of villians.
