Talking of tardises, I've always wanted to have one built on the side of a building that is an actual door into the building, to come as close to the illusion of bigger on the inside as possible.
Put it in a corner so 2 sides can be open into the building, but have the interior walls so that the tardis entrance is part of a round room.
