Not horror so I'll mention here that I finally got around to finishing Cobra Kai. I watched the first season and several episodes of the second when they were free on YouTube back before the Netflix move, but I think we went on overtime at work or something and I never finished before they went back behind a paywall.
Not sure how someone unfamiliar with the original Karate Kid films would like it, but I thought it was very well done. Looking forward to season 3 (and apparently a season 4 has already been approved or something - hope they manage to bring back Hillary Swank's character, too).

The Fly (1958)
It took a couple of trips to the local Walmart, waiting for them to *finally* get their movie section reset, but I finally got my hands on The Fly Collection Blu-ray set. The five-film box contains the original and its two sequels as well as Cronenberg's remake and its sequel.
Why make repeated trips to Wally World for it? Because for whatever reason, ordering it online would cost sixty bucks but it's on the shelf for forty. (Best Buy now has it online for $45)
Anyway, I watched the original when I got home from work. I probably haven't seen it straight thru since I was a kid but even tho it didn't scare me I have to say that scene at the end...the tiny, high-pitched "Help me..." as the spider closed in...that's stayed with me like few other scenes ever.

The Fly II (1989) turned out to be better than I expected. Saw it years and years ago. Not as good as Cronenberg's masterpiece but definitely watchable. The dog dies
