Saw a cartoon show last weekend that reminded me loosely of Guardians of Luna. "Dino Squad," it's called. Five high schoolers (including the token black guy and token tomboy girl) get doused in chemicals that give them the power to turn into dinosaurs. Then they find out that the chemicals came from the lab of the evil Victor Veloci, who is actually a velociraptor in a human form trying to turn all living creatures into dinosaurs so that things will be like they were back in his day. Then there's another raptor, Professor Moyni-something, who is trying to save humanity, and she's working with the kids to fight Victor. It makes more sense if you watch it. But it's also rather corny. It's a kid's show, what do you expect? Here's a preview thingy: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdxRUe9MvhQ . Warning: annoying pop-punk band heavily featured in the soundtrack. So, my first thought was, "How is this on when 'Guardians of Luna' hasn't been picked up yet?" Then I realized that dinosaurs are probably more marketable than werewolves, and "Dino Squad" adds in a lot of educational elements to their plots that "Guardians" may not have.
