How Many?

I was just wondering, does anybody know how many werewolf movies their are? On werewolf-movies.com at least(which is proably all of them)
I just wanted to know if somebody already knew before the long task of individualy counting them came into play
Also, how many tv shows that had WWs

The last time I counted, there were about 300 or so werewolf movies in the database, but I'm finding more all the time (mostly independent or foreign movies, or ones with just werewolf cameos).

As for TV shows, if you count animated shows there are an awful lot more than I have yet included on the site. Here are some of them:

It might be interresting to add that in terms of werewolf "series" (like the Hammer Dracula films with Chritopher Lee or Nightmare on Elmstreet or stuff like that) there are three mayor lines of movies.

The Universal series, starring Lon Chaney Jr as Larry Talbot, a series of 5 movies, which also feature Frankenstein's monster and Dracula. Chaney also appeared as the werewolf (not Talbot) in "Face of the Screaming Werewolf" and on a few other occasions.

Paul Naschy's movies featuring Werewolf Waldemar Daninsky features 12 entry's of which 1 is lost and another is one not made by Naschy himself (which mans it could be considered as "unofficial") and Waldemar also appeared in Naschy's "Howl of the Devil". Naschy also played a werewolf in 2 other movies (pherhaps 3 but I'm not sure, he could appear as a wolf in TV movie "Horror of the Wax Museum").

and ofcourse the Howling movies, of which 7 have been made so far.

other notable sequel/prequel shorter movie series are "American Werewolf..." and "Ginger Snaps"

Note that (strangly enough) unlike the other monster movies the studio made, Hammer only made 1 werewolf flick: "Curse of the Werewolf"
