good list i pretty much agree... though according to the criteria you set up before the list, i don't think Romasanta qualifies, since i saw it as more of a Werewolf-metaphor thing, than an actual werewolf-film... other than that, i agree with almost all of them.. at least the ones i've seen

Hmm, good point on Romasanta... I reckon it's just about ambiguous enough to count though. Not sure why if I should have included Waxwork either. Looks like I need to see more Naschy films as well.....

Yeah, it's a lot of fun if you like 80's horror movies. David Warner invites a bunch of dumb teens (including the guy from Gremlins 2 and Bobby from Twin Peaks) to his wax museum. They each go to check out the model of various horror and historical characters, and get sucked into a real-life version of the wax scenario; so it plays out a little like an anthology. Bobby goes into the werewolf scene and meets John Rhys Davis, who quickly turns into a flappy-eared werewolf. Pretty good scene.

If you mean the recent one- it's a remake of a remake. Should tell you all you need to know...

House of Wax is worth seeing if only to see Paris Hilton get killed. After that you can pretty much turn the film off.

Waxworks is rather a good film. A bit comic, and not very scary, but entertaining. Hmm must check my collection to make sure I own it.
House of Wax isn't too bad. Not great by any means. Pretty much a throw away teen horror.

Gosh, I'll have to wrack my brain...some of them I saw a while ago and might have forgot...
1. The Howling 2. Underworld 3. Underworld: Evolution 4. Underworld: Rise of the Lycans 5. An American werewolf in London 6. An American werewolf in Paris (I'll have to see these two again, I remember seeing them but only vaguely) 7. The Howling III 8. The Howling: New Moon Rising (Sucked. I was fooled by the cool title) 7. Bad Moon (I think this is the one it was, it was recommended to me by a friend of my stepfather's.) 8. Dog Soldiers (Didn't really like this one) 9. That werewolf cult movie, the first one. It had potential, but I would've liked to have seen more than just an arm. However, I can't be too harsh since it was a student film. 10. Scooby Doo and the Reluctant werewolf (This one was cute.) I've seen a lot of Scooby doo movies as a kid. I actually havn't seen the original wolfman, but since the remake is coming out, I'm tempted to see it. I'm not a fan of classic horror but there's a ton of Werewolf movies I havn't seen, and I'm tempted to see it just because. I'm gonna have to see Catpeople as well, not a werewolf movie...but there's so few werecat movies out there...I have seen Sleepwalkers though...but the only thing I didn't like about it was that the cats and the Sleepwalkers weren't on the same side.

I think the most common answer to this question is simply "Not Enough"

I'm sure there's tons more good ones that I havn't seen yet. But that's one of the reasons I found the website, I was looking for good werewolf films to look into.
