I've been trying to remember the name of a couple of werewolf films, but I cannot manage it.
One was a bout a rich hunter, that invited a group of strangers to stop at his mansion, where he told them that at least one of them is a werewolf who he planned on hunting once they were identified - or something along those lines. Was an old film.
and now I've completely forgot what the 2nd film was about . . . damn damn damn!! . . . it had a werewolf in it, and erm, nope it's gone completely out of my head. hopefully I'll rememeber and can give more details, that or flick through the listings on the main website.

Isn't there also a new one about a group of actors/actresses that get invited to do a performance out in mansion in the woods, but it turns out they were invited to be eaten by a werewolf?
Or am I mixing up film plots?

Yeah, the first one sounds like "The Beast Must Die". Let me know if you remember anything about the second one ...

Will do. My memory seems to only be able to hold 30% of what I know, and it randomly selects it from the whole 100% every few minutes it seems.

Actually turns out I was thinking of Into the Woods or which is a french film about a group that have been hired to put on a Little Red Riding Hood play and are then killed off by someone dressed up as the big bad wolf. - it was the red riding hood reference I think that was confusing my memory into thinking it was a werewolf film.
But that vamp film you suggested it may be sounds like it may be fun.
And the first film is the one your suggesting, so I'll be looking for it to buy now I know the name.

Definately The Beast Must Die, it's not actually Hammer tho, it's Amicus (very similar admittedly). Soo cheesy but Peter Cushing and Charles Gray give it a bit of class! I kinda like it despite it's many faults. Only problem is the alternative title contains a spoiler!

Did Amicus just make Horror then?

Amicus mostly made horror, best known probably for the movie Tales from the Crypt. Curse of the Werewolf is actually the only werewolf movie Hammer ever made unfortunately.

Oh i remember Tales from the Crypt Movie. Very creepy! I still find it hard to believe that Hammer made all those vampire movies and only one werewolf movie.

I liked both tales from the crypt movies - I liked the 2nd one with the sludge monster on the pond.
I thought Peter Cushing was in it, but was too unsure to say so. I remember it being rather entertaining, so I think I'll pick it up.
The other one I was thinking about was set at a hotel or camping lodge or health resort or smething, had a werewolf and a vampire in it. I think they were hunting the werewolf, I remember one character was a big game hunter.
The vampire slept in a coffin that was disguised as a piano I think. It came out either in the late 80s or early 90s I think but could be wrong. And, I'm not sure if it was a short film as part of an anthology type, or if it was a stand alone film.
The supermarket boss form hot fuzz was in it (forgot his name).
