Who wants to help me with my writing?

I need a little assistance with a character of mine. I'm a writer, if you didn't kno, and I'm writing some short stories about a girl named Randi. Everyone thinks she's a werewolf, but she's actually a were-dog. She's also goofy and naive; the stories I write about her are predominantly comedies.

Anyway, I'm having trouble with a couple aspects of her character, so I'm hoping someone can give me some ideas. Here's what I need assistance with:

1. What breed of were-dog is she? I'm looking for whatever kind of dog looks the most like a wolf...like Balto.

2. Randi's going to join a hardcore metal band, but I need a name. What's a good name for a band fronted by a werewolf? I'm thinking maybe The Dogs of War, but I'm open to other ideas.

Wolftallica. AC-Wolfsie. Wolf Sabbath. Motorwolf. Wolf Against The Machine. Nine Inch Wolves.

Ahem. Seriously though, as far as breeds of dogs are concerned, huskies tend to be very wolf-like, especially arctic/siberian huskies ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siberian_Husky ). Russian Laikas are also very wolfish sometimes, and incidentally they were the first species ever to be put into space ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laika_%28dog_breed%29 ). Or white german shepherds and various other shepherd breeds ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_shepherd#Variant_sizes_and_coats ). And there's also a bunch wolf-dog hybrid breeds.

I'd probably go with the siberian husky. They're the breed most commonly used to portray wolves in movies and on TV, like in Due South.

Huskies are awesome. My aunt had one when I was a kid. Beautiful white eyes - kept expecting it get all big and green.

As for a group name - has 'Slaughtered Lamb' been taken?
