i am since i can remember into that werewolf thing. since my father told me some werewolf stories in my childhood, and i always had to imagine my own werewolf back than, i was so much into it.

than with about, ehmm... 13 years i saw for the first time "An American Werewolf In London" (which i always knew only as "American Werewolf" over here in europe).
i was scared to my bones (it was only the cut tv version). like u say on the top of your site, there are several scenes, i cant cut out of my brain until today (i am 27 years old now). and back than, when i was that kid after seeing that movie, i was like for monts scared and slept only half of the night, the other one i was looking out of my window, searching for a pair of yellow eyes... ^^

i sucked in me afterwards all werewolf stuff i could find anywhere, but nothing, really NOTHING is even nearly comperable to this masterpiece!

i had years later to discover, that this movie was rated as a horror - comedy, which i cant really understand until today, for me its the scariest piece of movie ever!

and the metamorphosis is just so brilliant! *fingerlicking*

so i just wanted to thank u for this website, and share my thoughts with u werewolf loving ppl...



and btw., until today, i avoid as ever i can to get near a wood or landside at night...

i am not that superstitious or "little pantyshitter", but i really do believe in the animal side of man! and my other oppinion on everything in life is: "if u cant proof that something isn't existing, u cant tell it isn't"!

Cool, I had a similar experience growing up watching "American Werewolf". After that I always loved the idea of werewolves, and it was recent movies like Dog Soldiers and Ginger Snaps that made we want to make the site.

I agree with you that no werewolf movie yet comes close to American Werewolf, that's why its the only one on the site rated five wolf-head thingies.

i watched this movie about half a year ago, and had very high expectations. but, sadly, i was pretty disappointed of it. the very beginning is indeed very kewl. and i was awaiting a very good movie. the story is very nice, and the spirit is also hit very nice.
my biggest disappointment about this movie are the werewolfes itself, on one side they appear very animallike and "strong", but than in some fights with the soldiers, they seem like little animals, which can be hold off by an closed door or a soldier kiking out of a window...
so this movie is pretty cool, but again, no comperation to the masterpiece...
my 2 cent.

i have to admit, that i discovered this movie (trilogy) first time yesterday on your site, and i will watch em soon. my expectations are once again very high, and this one picture on your site (this werewolf on the street) keeps em this way


and i also saw your "upcoming movies" list yesterday, and there are several movies listed, which are making me full of expectations!!!

so lets hope that the unchallenged nr. 1 will soon get some company!

Careful...don't be too negative on "Dog Soldiers," or Weredog will eat you.

My only problem with the movie is that the soldiers empty entire clips of bullets into the monsters and it doesn't do anything to them.

hrhr... yeah, we could discuss that for a long time. lead bullets... what if there will be shot of a extremity (arm or leg) by lead bullets, etc. etc.

but what stays for me, is that in "dog soldiers" there are some inconsistencies with the werewolfes. and thats a pitty, because this movie had for sure potential to be better, but is still one of the superior of its kind.

I saw dogsoldiers the first time. directly after i first saw ginger snaps.(bought them at the same time) So i was a little dissapointed of it. But after last summer. when me and my brothers watched the movie, with the highest sound volume. I learnt how really great it is

I wonder what the neighbors thougt of it. i mean. it was probably half a kilometer to the nearest house. but im sure they heard it

Werewolf and all other who should feel affected by my personal oppinion on "Dog Soldiers", i never intended to do so! its only my oppinion, and i also mentioned some good sides on it that i do like...
