How about a section for werewolf related books and novels?

There's plenty about or perhaps we could just write reviews of these books in the reviews section?

I was considering creating a seperate website for werewolf books, as a companion site, but I don't really read enough to be honest. I could program it but somebody else would need to write and maintain it. I think there are 'werewolf book' forums out there too, for now this one just focuses on werewolf movies.

Just as a further thought to this thread, now that you've set up a system for us visitors to contribute reviews of movies, have you thought of revisiting this idea?

But rather than having it like the film lists, have it more of a recommendation list, that way we'd not have to try to get a list of them all.

Also what about having it rather than has books, but as Other Media so we can include comics, and other such things?

Yup

Been looking for a good werewolf computer game for a while. Was dissapointed when the whitewolf one got cancelled, as I liked their vampire ones.

I think "Morrowind : Bloodmoon" is the only really good one I've played. They're in "The Sims 2 : Pets", as well. Yeah.

I think a dedicated section on werewolf novels and other media is a great idea. I have quite a few good werewolf novels from over the years. There are a lot of really good werewolf books out there (more so than movies sadly).
Maybe just recommendations as suggested by Marcus rather than a comprehensive list with reviews etc. People could also just post a link to Amazon or somewhere else that gives more info.

I've got morrowind somewhere, though it's a bit of a pain to play on my computer due to the specs

Will have to pick up the bloodmoon expansion though and play it again once my comp is upgraded

I tried it but I just don't have the patience for RPG type stuff. I cheated my way to the werewolf and whenever I got tired of someone standing around blathering on about their troubles I wolfed out and went after everyone I could find.

I've updated the website to incorporate the "Other Media" and "See Also" (non-werewolf movies of interest) ideas. Nothing there yet, though. I'll set it up so people can submit recommendations and such.

Is there going to be a specific format your going to want such submissions in?

Hmm, well for the 'recommendations' page I was thinking something straightforward like:


Your Name/Nickname

What are you recommending? (Book/Comic/Game/Other)

Title

Author (if applicable)

Your Comments

Rating (optional)


I'm thinking I'll let people recommend things even if they've been recommended by someone else, so a popular book for instance can have several recommendations and comments.
