What's a Dalek, besides an excuse to post pictures on the board? How could you not know what a dalek is? I'm not a fan of Dr Who but even i knew what was one. |

I think Dedwyr is from the US, and the good Doctor and his mortal enemies are not as well know around there, so I don't blame him  They aren't even that well known around here (the Netherlands) were I live, they are an undeniable aspect of British popculture, and I love 'em  |

In the UK is certainly has, if you don't know what a Dalek is in the UK you really missed something. the US has a large nuber of Who Fans, but remeber, the US is HUGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEE!!!!

In the US "Dr. Who" is still more of a 'cult' thing, tho I suspect the new series running on the SciFi Channel now is helping spread the word some. |

I heard of Doctor Who when I was young, but I never watched it or knew anything about it. I've never been into complicated sci-fi. I only know what I do about Star Trek because a friend of my pretty much forced me to watch it every time I went to his house. If he'd been a Doctor Who fan, I'm sure I'd be an expert.

I'm planning on ordering the "Dalek Collection" sometime soon. It includes both the Dalek/Doctor Who movies starring Peter Cushing.
