some pictures of it. Some early advertisement called it "The Howling" And it does have alot of similarities to it(especialy afew characters look alot like ones from the first movie). So i guess they just lost the rights to the name. I like their ww designs. And talking about ww comics. In the latest chapter of the manga hellsing. Released not to many days ago. The Nazi commander finaly revealed himself as a werewolf (those who has read the prequel offcourse already knew he was one.) This is the only picture, and its mid transformation.

I read X-Factor. There's a character named Rahne (pronounced "rain") whose codename is Wolfsbane. She's a mutant, like the X-Men and the rest of X-Factor, and her power is that she can turn into a wolf. She's the girl on the left under Strong Guy (surely you can figure out which one he is). I've been following Wolfsbane since her days in the old version of X-Factor, when they were basically the X-Men but with government sponsorship. Now they're a private investigations agency. Check wikipedia if you care to know more...or just ask me. Here's a more recent cover of Rahne and Layla Miller. It's kind of decieving, as they actually get along well.

I have the Essential Werewolf By Night book, collecting a whole bunch of old issues. Some of that writing is brutal to read...it just states the obvious over and over.
The lead character (Jack Russell) recently appeared in a comic called "Legion of Monsters." I think it's going to be a regular series that looks at some of the monsters of Marvel comics, like the Man-Thing and Dracula. I got confused by it, though, as the issue with the werewolf was numbered as #1, but then I found an issue with the Man-Thing also numbered #1. So I dunno what they're doing with it.

They look like they're getting along pretty well to me. The girl's head is still attached to the rest of her, right?

IRONY! After reading this thread, I went to my local comic shop to get my regular stuff and check out Free Comic Book Day. One of the free books was this... It's the beginning of some sort of werewolf superhero story.

They look like they're getting along pretty well to me. The girl's head is still attached to the rest of her, right? Rahne doesn't usually like to kill...she killed one dude after he killed his own wife, then freaked out afterwards. Recently, she's had a bit of a mean streak where she doesn't seem to mind hurting people if they're fanatical bigots. She's also had visions of killing Multiple Man (the leader of the group), and she worries that she may not be so much "a girl who sometimes turns into a wolf" as "a wolf who sometimes turns into a girl." And there I go again, off on a tangent...
