Why are the evil jedi's called sith's all of a sudden? They never were in the original trilogy.

Why are the evil jedi's called sith's all of a sudden? They never were in the original trilogy. Weren't they? I vaguely remember Darth Vader being referred to as a sith lord in some of those movies. Or maybe I'm just going crazy. *goes off to check* No, he wasn't called a Sith directly in those movies, but the screenplays referred to him as "Darth Vader, Lord of the Sith" even in the earliest versions. So there you are. |
