Alien vs Preditor 2 should not be much longer before it's released.
Not seen a preview for it yet, but from the little I know, seems like they'll be some preditor/alien hybrids in it.
It's also supposed to be more gory than the first one. Apparently the film makers listerned to the complaints of the fans and this one will be more along the lines of the comics. At least so I heard.

I should probably watch all of "Alien 3" sometime. And then "Alien Resurrection." And then "AvP." And finally "AvP 2."
I don't think I'll bother with "Predator 2," though, based on what I've seen of it.

Biggest thing wrong with preditor 2 I think was the leading star. He just wasn't right for the part of an action hero cop of the style they tried to have him being.

I know the first one got quite a lot of stick but i really quite enjoyed. I'm also looking forward to the new one as i've also heard it will be much gorier!

Predator 2 was cool. Bill Paxton, Gary Busey, Danny Glover....all good. Besides, it pretty much sets up the whole AvP thing in the first place.

I don't remember Gary Busey in it or Bill Paxton, mind you it's ages since i last saw it. All i can remember is Danny Glover. I watched Arnie in the original one the other night.

I remember we used to have a competition when we used to rewatch the first preditor film, to see who could spot the preditor first in each scene it shows you it hiding.

Predator 2 is great fun - not as good as Predator though, but much better than AvP. Gary Busey was Peter Keys, a dodgy Fed, and Bill Paxton was Jerry Lambert - a new and cocky cop on Glover's team. Twice! Must have been good then. I've not had a chance to see it yet but it didn't get great reviews in the press that i saw. I'm told the scenes in the maternity hospital are quite nasty so i'm looking forward to seeing those!

Surprising that there will be a pred/alien hybrid considering in the comic the pred were supposed to be immune to the face huggers. Because how the pred mouth is.
