Seeing as he seems rather popular with a number of us, I though it'd be nice to give him his own Film thread on here New/upcoming films he's in: Monstermania! don't know anything about this part from that he's in it, well his voice is anyway Colour of Magic - Nice to see he's reprising his roll as Death. Ever since he did the voice for death in the cartoons based on Terry Prachetts books, I've always imagined death to have his voice when I've read them. (on a side note I think the actor they've cast as rincewind is the wrong choice, he should have been cast as twoflower). Cowboys for Christ - Christopher plays a scotish lord, who is part of a pagan cult. - When a young girl and her cowboy boyfriend shows up in his fiefdom they are welcomed, but not all is as it seems. - Seems a lot are thinking it's somekind of wicker man remake or sequal. It's not from what I've read. It just has similar themes. Still will be fun to wach Christopher as a pagan lord again

David Jason I think..... good actor, not who I'd have chosen tho! I'd have gone for someone younger, skinnier and scruffier... Robert Downey Jr comes to mind.

For some reason they're ignoring Rincewinds description when they cast the actor - just like they ignored Alberts when they cast the same actor. To me he fits twoflower's description much better - though probably too old. I can see why they've cast him, he's famous, and will draw people to the film just cause he's in it. But some how, I cannot see him being able to run away very fast, which rincewind was famous for

No, it was someone else. He only did it for the two cartoons.

Any Lee fans here seen City of the Dead (Horror Hotel in the US)? Saw it a few years back and just bought the special edition dvd, it's a really good film, awesome atmosphere. Lee plays a professor with a special interest in witchcraft. It's vaguely reminiscent of several HP Lovecraft stories.
