Minor SPOILER to answer Keywolf
In the first season, it was mentioned that George's sense did improve as it got closer to the full moon, to the point where he didn't need his glasses. So I would have thought he should have been able to - than again, do werewolves smell differently before they change? I'm guessing based on George not noticing they don't.

Looks like it's going to be another good series. And wolf...who needs CGI?

Ok Marcus, good enough answer I guess.
Yeah, I continue to be impressed by the practical FX on this series which obviously isn't a mega-budget production.
By the way, the US remake starts next summer on the 'SyFy' (ugh) channel.

A U.S. remake? I should have expected that. They do it with everything else. But that leaves me with a couple of questions regarding U.S. remakes of British TV shows. Are any of them any good, and do they usually deviate from the original plot?
Come to think of it, The Office and Life on Mars are the only remakes of that sort that I can think of right now. And The Office probably isn't a good measuring stick for a Being Human remake.
I do fear for the look of the werewolf on the U.S. version, considering how the station formerly known as the Sci-Fi Channel has handled werewolves in The Dresden Files and Sanctuary.

Yeah The Dresden Files one was terrible, don't think i ever saw the one in the Sanctuary. Was that CGI?

Yesterday's episode was very interesting. Don't want to give away spoilers, but will say it was a good episode for the ghost's storyline.

Yes, the UK is region 2.
Have you checked online for your DVD player, as their could be a code avaialble to turn it to multi-regional, then it won't matter what region a dvd is.

We all (in the UK) still watching Being Human? I hope so. It's bloody marvelous! This season is shaping up even better than last years. Episode two was arguably the best episode they've done so far and one of the best eps of TV I've seen in a long time. And ep 3 last night was almost as good. The stories are great and the character work, acting and dialogue is just so rich, sharp and funny. Genius! Oh, and the werewolf stuff looks even better this year. Love, love, love this show.
