A painting from the collection of Arch Duke Ferdinand the Second (seriously, i'm not bullshitting you) made in the 16th century in Austria. It was part of his collection of Rogues and Monsters (which included Vlad Dracul). The real life Wolfman (no full moon stuff, just lots of hair) stayed at the Arch Dukes castle to pose for this painting along with his wife and equally fuzzy kids. screenshot and information from their brief mention in "In Search of Dracula"

I've seen that picture before. The family had that "disease" where hair grows all over their faces.

I've seen that picture before. The family had that "disease" where hair grows all over their faces. I've seen it as well. It's an amazing protrait, plus, given people's attitudes back then it's equally amazing that they didn't end up tied to a stake and going up in flames!
