Another new film.
A group of archeologists are hunting for a lost temple in south america (not sure if it's aztec or incan (sp).
They find the temple, which seems to be guarded or used by a native tribe.
They also find out that the natives are not the scariest thing about it. The vines that cover the stepped pyramid attack them as well!!!
Don't know anything else about it. but the clip looked decent, and it's one I'd not mind seeing I think.

Every so often I go onto Quicktime's trailer website, and watch any trailer that looks like it'll be interesting.
Others I see as previews on new DVDs I buy.

This one's already out in America, I think. All I remember is that one of the girls gets some sort of creature inside of her. Maybe like in Alien.

Watched this now I enjoyed this film. It wasn't what I was expecting though. I was expecting a monster film of somekind (running, screaming, more running, etc, etc) but this film isn't like that. Instead it's more about how the people cope with what's happening, and react to each other and the creeping death that is threatening them. Nearly the whole thing takes place in one location once the action starts. It's more about being trapped than about running from something thats trying to kill/eat you. They had enough stuff happening to stop it feeling slow or boring, and it does have some pretty gory scenes in it, and some could make you squirm. And interestingly most of the action happens in daylight, so no half seen stuff hidden by darkness. I'm trying to not say too much about what happens in the film, or about what the threat is, which makes it hard to say too much. The version I watched was the Unrated one, so don't know how much of the gore would be removed from a regular version. I'd recomend it as a film worth watching if you like gore and slow horror.

The theatrical version was still pretty gory. I loved it. Will have to get the unrated version.
