Lets see, umm, aside from classics like The Shining, The Exorcist and so on, a few slightly more obscure ones I'd recommend off the top of my head would be Dead of Night, Ed Wood, The Ninth Configuration (not really horror but by the guy who wrote the Exoricist) and anything by David Lynch/Cronenberg.

Also the Lost Boys Can't get over my 80s movies obsession.

Very nice list. I don't have a top 100 horror movies on paper. My top 5 would probably be something like Cemetery Man, The Company of Wolves, Eyes Without a Face, The Hitcher and Black Christmas

I saw Eyes Without a Face for the first time recently and loved it. 'Cemetery Man' is called 'Dellamorte Dellamore' (Of Death, Of Love) over here and is one of my favourite zombie movies of all time. The severed head wedding scene is just mad.

In The Company of Wolves, is there sining in it? Like some girl wandering about in the woods singing about you should never talk to strangers..while singing with the stranger, if it is then its been years since I've seen it.
