I think my favourite vampire film is probably Bram Stokers Dracula. Probably because it's less a horror film and more a love story. That, and I like the visuals of the film.

If you think that's softcore porn, you've lead a very sheltered life where films are concerned.

I liked Bram Stoker's Dracula as well. I didn't consider it soft core porn but there were moments i felt embarrassed to watch with my parents. Especially the part with the werewolf type thing on the bench with lucy! I was fairly young when i first saw it and i wanted the ground to swallow me up!

I was lucky with my parents in that respect. Films never felt embarrasing to watch with them.
I'm hoping that the remake of the wolfman is going to have some cool settings in that kind of way, so it has that slightly unreal element to background and style but not too much.

I need to see Bram Stoker's Dracula again, now that I've actually read the book (which I found was way too long and drawn out for my tastes). I don't even remember if the American character was in the film.
Didn't it have Keanu Reeves playing John Harker? "Dracula's not real, he's just part of the Matrix."

Yes there was a cowboy in the movie. Along with a western-ish horse and carriage chase scene
