Was tempted to buy the region 1 version, but I'm hanging on for a little while to see if a region 2 comes out.

I'm keeping everything crossed that they will. Perhaps they release it when the Wolf Man is released on DVD and see if they can't hitch it to the same bandwagon.

I heard that they changed the original opening credits to the show on the dvd release. That's unfortunate. I thought the original credits were fantastic!

Yeah....all the reviews are saying they used the "Love & Curses" opening. Makes no sense to me as I imagine most US viewers at least are like me and only saw the series on SciFi which only used the "She Wolf of London" credits for the whole run.

I watched it on its original run in the fall of '90... (Gosh... 20 years ago, geez!) It was only on two channels in the whole country! (No wonder it got cancelled!) I like both openings, but I think since it's the dvd release they should have tried to remain as true to the original airings as possible. Have the original credits for the SWoL episodes, and the L&C credits for the last 6 episodes...
It's a shame there isn't a region 2 release for this series! It did air in England, didn't it? I'm assuming it has a following there... (even if it's a small one)

Using the right openings for the right episodes would've been best. I wonder if it was some sort of bizarre rights problem with the original music or what? Haven't seen any reasons for it anywhere.

Got my DVDs today! I'll have to log onto YouTube to watch the right opening before each episode, I think.
**UPDATE** Okay....this is odd. The opening titles on the DVD use the L&C music but after the shots of Randi in the tent it switches over to the video of the She-Wolf opening titles. At least for the pilot.
