Has anyone else tried watching this and did anyone else get sick of all the sex? ? This has such good reviews and i'm completely disapointed with it!

Yeah I've watched True Blood.
The sex didn't bother, though I did find the story to be a little slow paced in some episodes.
Overall I enjoyed it. Not the best series I've seen, but watchable.
They've started advertising next season too, so that'll be showing probably in Feb in the UK.

Actually, all I've bothered to watch online is the sex. Anna Paquin ftw!

Well yeah Anna Paquin is very pretty and the vampire she's with is quite hot but it just seemed to me that the sex over took the storylines sometimes. Perhaps i'll give it another shot at some point?

I enjoyed the series, but it' s silly anyway. First of all, who would like to make love with dead guy? Why dead guy would want it? Vampires want BLOOD, not FUCK. Just because I don' t like "Underworld" franchise (but again, I enjoyed watching it), "Vampire diaries" and so on (not to mention "Twilight" crap). Vampires are cool, when they act like Lucy from Coppolas "Dracula", not like some bitches from disco or Edward (separate category). And second - who would believe, that vampires (undead predators) and humans (prey) can live togheter in peace? It is sooooo unimaginable! Humans would burn vampires at stakes, few seconds after vampires reveals themselves. And that it is how it should be.

When watching a series like this, or any other for that matter, it tends to be best to accept the structure of the setting as "that's how they are" rather than trying to implement your own version of what a "vampire" is. Otherwiee you'll find loads of faults and not like any series that doesn't show the vampires exactly as you think they should be.
That doesn't mean you should not have your prefered view. Personally I much prefer my vampires to be "evil" than "lonely" or "misunderstood".

Aint you heard Werewolf? Today's world is a pornified culture. It's because the corporations know that it's a direct line to our primal and stupid side. The one that goes out and buys crap that you don't actually need.
