Not only is American Werewolf in London my favourite werewolf movie, but its my favourite movie of all time. That said its not my favourite werewolf, i prefer the 2 legged beast.
I think the werewolves in Van Helsing were cracking, but my favourites are the Oliver Reed type werewolf, the recent Wolfman remake is a good example of this. The worst kind of werewolf, for me, being the werewolves in the twilight saga.
Any way my question is, 2 legged werewolves or 4, which is best?

I'm not terribly picky. For me it's more about the individual story and what works for that.
However, if I have to pick one, I'd go for the good ol' "Howling" style (tho perhaps with an ear bob 'cause those overlong ears just always irk me).

Im not picky either, but I do agree that the Twilight werewolf style is a little laim. I want to see a beast, if I wanted to see wolves tearing shit up I would watch the discovery channel.

I prefer biped. Big fan of the dog soldiers design and much prefer animatronic ones to CGI.

My preference is for 2 legs.
hmm, ideal have one that can do what bears do, move about on all fours, then raise up onto back legs when it wants to.

I like both. Whatever fits the story but I have yet to see a quadruped design that really won me over. Gmork from The Neverending Story is the only one I can think of that I liked. I am not really a fan of the AAWIL design. A really good quadruped design could win me over.

Definitely like two leggers better but I don't mind fours either.
I agree with everyone about it depending on the story.
As long as the lycan is viscious and feral it will work for me. No pussy twilight shit.

For real man. I hate any movies, books, games, and stories with pussy ass wolves or vampires. These creatures should be ripping off human heads and dumping down their necks left and right.
Werewolves should be viscious and horrifying. The very sight of them should send you running in terror.
It's ok if there is a love story involved but the sex better be brutal! Ha Ha
