New film monster film. Basic premise:
"Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America. Soon after, new life forms began to appear and grow. In an effort to stem the destruction that resulted, half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain the massive creatures."
Looks pretty good from the trailer.

They built a giant wall...I'm already leery of what I'm supposed to take out of this.

If you're in the states it's playing on Pay-Per-View for $9.99. Gonna wait until that price drops before I take it in. But, the reviews I have read say it rocks.

I got a chance to watch it tonight, and it was actually really good. Not action-packed, but it's one of the few slow, contemplative movies I've seen that didn't feel like a cop out. I highly recommend it for anyone who doesn't mind a slower-paced, character-oriented movie. The monsters/setting are definitely a backdrop, not the main attraction here.

I'll give this a chance. I hope it does make me think. It's been a bit since a movie did that.

I've heard very good things about this but i do like my monster to be the main feature in movies and because of that i fear i may find this one too slow. But i will definately give it go when it comes on Sky.
