I just read that horror super babe Ingrid Pitt passed on!

She was well known for her roles in British cult classics like 'The Vampire Lovers' & 'The Wicker Man' (i've seen neither of them, shame on me)

I have seen her in the Doctor Who serial 'The Time Monster' with Jon Pertwee. Fab stuff, and I can't wait to see her in 'The House that Drippes Blood'!

You really should watch The Wicker Man (not least because you see Christopher Lee in a dress). Just stay far away from the remake.

She really was an icon of British cinema. The Queen of Hammer Horror. May she rest in peace.... Unless of course she wishes to rise from her grave and terrorise the locals.
