I just re - watched Hellraiser 1 - 6 and loved every minute of it.
I forgot how cool the Cynobites are. I know the movies go downward as the sequels continue but I enjoy them all.
I have never seen 7 or 8.

Love the first two to bits.... but I also have a real soft spot for Hellraiser 5. I've seen 'em all, and am sorry to say 7 and 8 aren't worth it at all.
My favourite Cenobite has always been Chatterer. So freakish!

Hellraiser series is good. And cenobites are cool.
Though I agree it's best to stop watching them after about the 4th one - I think thats the space station one. As it's answers most questions and has an ending.
I'm rather looking forward to the remake to see what they change. I've seen a couple of trial looks for the new Pinhead, and must admit he's looking pretty good.

I love the series up until 3, then they got stupid. I mean bloodline took place in space, what the hell man. Though the flash back in blood line, which was almost the entire movie, was a good story.

The 1st one and the 2nd one have very similar looks, in effects and such-like. The 3rd one looks less realistic in it's gore, not as gritty.
