Looks like an alternate title for the upcoming movie 'Lycan', the one about pyrotechnics vs werewolves. Looks low budget but fun.

Yep, it's Lycan all right (or at least the plot info/character names from the Lycan page at IMDb are identical to the DVD listing).
Am I wrong or did they finally manage to get some original cover art?

Yes, Werewolf: The Devil's Hound is the official title that Lions Gate has given to Lycan. I can assure you that although the movie is low budget, it is one helluva an entertaining werewolf flick. It's really fun and has a great pace and a sick soundtrack
