Elsewhere I've read that he plays a Steve Irwin-type TV personality who is in town for an autograph session when the werewolves invade, and, based on his show, the townfolk expect him to hunt them.

I agree, that it sounds like an interesting storyline. With look they'll be a little humour running thorugh it like in Lake Placid or Slivers.

Yeah, there's humor. One of the things I read was how Sorbo said it was a funny script with a lot of action.
