Never thought it would see the light of day (or moonlight) on this side of the pond, but Wild Country is finally slated for a dec 16, 2008 (according to both Amazon and Deep Discount) release in the US. Can't imagine what was the hold-up. Anyway, look forward to the opportunity of watching it. Rock on Scotland!

I didn't even realize it hadn't been released here yet. I'd forgotten about it. Noel's review isn't too damning, though, so I might have a look at it.

I thought that Wild Country wasn't really a "werewolf" film. I thought it was something else.

It's a low budget werewolf film. Pretty good storyline, and the werewolf is ok at a distance, with an interesting twist to it's appearance I think.

Don't forget about the US release of Wild Country tomorrow...trip to the dentist, go christmas shopping, buy a copy of WC and then come home and make a fire and curl up with the dogs because we are looking at temps around 40 to 50 below with the wind chill...yikes!

After freezing my ass of trying to find Wild Country at both Best Buy and Suncoast, I didn't get it. My better half already ordered it online for me around $10-15. Just an fyi to order it for anyone...trying to stay warm now!!!

Not tents...but they are both made of the finest cardboard around. I was surprised neither of them had it. Still freezin' my ass off-it only managed to get to 30 below with the windchill!!!

Yes, I finally sat down over the Christmas Holiday to watch WC...I was very pleased! It is a great story, and although I prefer more of a Howling or DS wolfie-type, it was still a good werewolf for the budget. I highly suggest anyone who has not had the chance to see it, to get it. Happy New Year to all!
