This movie was actually completed in 2008, but I don't believe it ever met the inside of a cinema. Some might argue that the film isn't quite a Werewolf movie, but the book certainly had those leanings.
Anyway, Amazon (US) now plans to release it as a VOD (video on demand) ONLY on january 1, 2010. No information about any US dvd release plans. Does Amazon (UK) offer VOD? Perhaps it will turn up in other spots around the same time. I understand that it may have been released on dvd in Germany(?).
Is the film any good you may ask? That's a tough call and, in this case, definitely an "eye of the beholder" kind of thing.

I've seen this movie. It is ultra cheap and pretty bad with some highly dodgy CGI 'werewolves' that look like something from a 90's video game. I loved the book but this was lame. Naveen Andrews (Lost) is the bad guy and even he is awful. The hero is Riley Finn from Buffy aka actor Mark Blucas - a prime hunk of wood if ever there was one. Still, I've seen worse. It just hurts more as the book is one of my faves.

I remember liking the book a lot. I also remember thinking the previews for the movie would make people long for the masterpiece that is DarkWolf. ...sigh... I'll still have to track it down...
