Just saw this on Netflix. It's an attempt at comedy from the 80's.
I recommend against watching it. The original werewolf is somewhat interesting, but he's a bit too vampiric in abilities and temper. I'm not opposed to a sophisticated werewolf, if it weren't for the copious amounts of hair, I would think he's a vampire. Other than that it's just kind of general epic failure. Probably the only part I could pin down is that the movie isn't decisive, it bounces back and forth between being comedic and horrific. Maybe if it had managed to focus on one or the other it would have done better.

Sounds like a mess of a film.

Sounds like a mess of a film. Oh yeah, you had stuff like this: That's them...going to fight the werewolf. Yes, that is a silver fork on a wooden stick. (I want to make a "You're doing it wrong" out of this img.) This is the werewolf: Somehow she killed him with that fork, he spent a whole 2.5 minutes just rolling around on the floor gurgling and making all sorts of awkward noises before he finally died... He looks really bestial, but he acts like the traditional vampire, including the ability to make people think he's a friend of theirs--although they make a point of him being immune to vampire banes--and this is the only time we see him in this form. Seriously, one time he actually sits up in bed and starts talking to her in her dreams, like a Dracula .07 or something. That was a much more horror-like scene, didn't take any screenshots of it. Then there's the restaurant scene where he licks her hand, repeatedly. And she doesn't seem to have a problem with it. Then a dish with...red berries on it comes by and he splits like a vampire that just saw a cross. I think it was supposed to be wolfsbane, although why you would put a toxic plant with no particular flavor or health benefits on a dish I have no idea.

If you had only shown the 2nd picture I might have actually checked this one out.

If you had only shown the 2nd picture I might have actually checked this one out. The werewolf with the incredibly fake-looking hand and milk for blood?
