I watched Lost Boys 3 yesterday, and wanted to share my furthering irritation to poor sequals to iconic films. I was going to call this thread Lost Boys 3, but decided why limit this thread to just one film.
So, As a stand alone film, it was ok. as a sequal to the orginal Lost Boys it was very very very bad. The only possitive thing was that they kept the 'cry little sister' song in it, though didn't use it as well as they could have.
Edger Frog was done reasonably ok, but when they tried to redo certain lines from the first film for him to say, it didn't work.
It's a better film than Lost Boys 2. Which isn't saying much. As that one failed on so many levels as a sequal, not least of which altering how the vampires look, making them more grotesque than cool when 'fanged out'.
So what other iconic films have you seen sequals to that make you want to bang the heads together of the people that make them?
