It's a great game, but you have to find the right group of people for it. It's unfortunately easy to fall either into ALL KILLING ALL THE TIME GRR ARGH SMASH or WHEEE ENVIRONMENTALISM!
With a good GM, though, it's a fantastic horror game.

Thats what we are trying to write Fen, in a way anyways. Not quite werewolves but Feral diseased people. Close enough right?

I prefer Werewolf: The Forsaken myself, considering the environmentalist and "WE MUST DEFEND GAIA FROM THE MEAN HYOOMANS!" overtones were toned down a lot in the core rule book. I've only gotten the supplement for The Pure though.

Yeah, Moonreaper, we are. AND IT WILL BE AWESOME DAMNIT.
Komodo: yeah... Apocalypse could get a bit heavy-handed. At least the later books started to make notes of how going too far that way was a bad thing, like how Mage: the Ascension started showing the Technocracy wasn't all evil.

Mortal Kombat remains to this day to be one of my favorite games. The atmosphere, stories, and characters or so awesome. The characters in Kombat 9 look SO TIGHT! Reptile looks bad ass in this one (one of my favs.)

Talking of fighting games, I wonder why no one has made one based on either:
Historical characters/warriors from different era's (like in the TV show Deadliest Warrior)
Or one where you fight as animals - tigers, bears, lions, wolves, rhino's (though guess that'd have problems with animal cruelty accusations, even though its a computer game and not real).

It's a pretty fun series where every character has a beast form. Some are goofy (the chameleon looks like a joke but he's cheap as hell. Grr...), most are totally badass. My personal favorites are Gado the Lion, Yugo the Wolf, and Xion the Unborn (which is kind of a cockroach-thing that looks a bit like the Guyver).

Hello,
I'm new and I just posted on the newbie page in the "What are you reading.." post about a book I read that was about just this. It's a book called Dog World and werewolves take over the world in it. It was really good.
