Why has nobody done this?

The first Resident Evil was awesome. i didn't care much for the other ones. The characters got cooler and the graphics were better but it lost the creepiness.

Resident Evil was a great movie, i quite enjoyed the second one as well as we got the chance to meet the new super Alice. Unfortunitley the most recent one really doesn't cut it. I watched it with my partner last night. I think it might have been much better had i seen it at the cinema in 3D as all the shots are clearly set up to taken advantage of the 3D technology, but it just doesn't look as good in 2D on a normal telly. In fact it just looks like they were trying to rip off the Matrix. They've left it wide open for another movie. I wonder whether Milla Jovovich will be up for another one?

Milla Jovovich is quite hot, especially in the Fifth Element.

I liked the Resident Evil films too, especially the 1st one. The way it adapted the concept of the computer game into a film was the best I've seen done.

I think they had Alice become too over the top as the series progressed though. She was fine in the 1st and 2nd films, but the 3rd one could have done without her 'powers' - greater strength, speed, agility sure - mind powers were too much.

Thought the plot lines for film 1 and 2 were excellent, not so much for 3 and 4. I felt they'd become more about effects than plot at that point.

Won't stop me buying a 5th one if they make one though

I agree they seem to be giving her more and more. I really wish they would have done more with Nemesis from the second one though, he was such a bad ass.
