A new TV series just started in the UK, last Saturday, on Channel 4, called Camelot. I believe it's done by the same people that did the Rome series (and like the Rome series it is aimed at adults).
The double pilot episode was excellent. It has a few recognisable people in it.
The story has started with the death of Uther and Merlin's correnation of Arthur as a young King (with problems from Morgana and a warlord called King Lot).
